Stella’s Out in… CHICAGO

I lived in Chicago for three years and still feel like there’s so much I didn’t have a chance to explore. The city is huge, which can be overwhelming. For foodies it is heaven, with boutique brunch spots, authentic Mexican cuisine, and new places popping up all the time. Sometimes it seemed hard to keep up with the ever evolving restaurant scene. If you are wondering about things to do, check out my posts for various activities throughout the city. I also have included restaurant reviews and a few reviews for hotels (for when I needed a staycation). I hope they help you plan an exciting trip to the Windy City!

Loving Wood-Fired Pizza at Pizzeria del Mercato

When I found a deal for wood-fired pizza, I knew I had to check it out! Anything wood-fired is automatically legit and when it’s pizza, it […] Read more…

Savoring Peruvian Cuisine at Ceviche

What I love most about going out to eat at a new restaurant is the places you can be transported through food. Visiting a restaurant of a cuisine you have never tried before can be foreign but also exciting. When a Peruvian restaurant opened in my neighborhood of Logan Square, I was immediately interested in […] Read more…

Touring Finch’s Brewery

As a wise man once said, “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” I could not agree more. Beer is, in a word, awesome. I’ll take any chance I get to enjoy the adult beverage, and a deal for a brewery tour is just the excuse I need. After […] Read more…
