I lived in Washington DC for four years while attending college. During those years, I spent a lot of time exploring all that the city has to offer. In my post on things to do, I have curated a list of the top attractions based on my years as a resident. It includes information on which museums to visit and when. If you are interested in touring some of the houses of government, be aware that most tours must be reserved in advance.
