Stella’s Out in… CHICAGO

I lived in Chicago for three years and still feel like there’s so much I didn’t have a chance to explore. The city is huge, which can be overwhelming. For foodies it is heaven, with boutique brunch spots, authentic Mexican cuisine, and new places popping up all the time. Sometimes it seemed hard to keep up with the ever evolving restaurant scene. If you are wondering about things to do, check out my posts for various activities throughout the city. I also have included restaurant reviews and a few reviews for hotels (for when I needed a staycation). I hope they help you plan an exciting trip to the Windy City!

Dining Elegantly at Cité

My mother raised me as a lover of all things French, so when I saw a deal for the elegant French restaurant Cité, I knew I had to snag it. The restaurant is known first and foremost for the amazing views of Chicago and Lake Michigan that can be seen from it’s spot at the […] Read more…

Killing Zombies at Zombie Outbreak Chicago

There are people out there that are convinced a zombie apocalypse is inevitable. Then there are people who look at those people like they are crazy. While I do not find myself in the first group, I also do not count myself as a member of the latter either. When I found a deal that […] Read more…

Preparing for Zombies at Article 2 Gun Range

I am a huge fan of The Walking Dead show on AMC! Who doesn’t love a good apocalypse story, right? My boyfriend and I can’t get enough, so when I snagged him a gun range shooting package as a gift, he was super excited to get in some practice before the world is overrun with […] Read more…
